Treefall on Bainbridge Island. Stopped by and picked up some small stuff for spindle practice (having to re-learn everything), bigger stuff for bowl-gouge practice, and a big slab (not pictured yet) for a bowl down the line. Yippee!

Dennis, I'll take a picture of the bigger piece, trunk-like that split longitudinally, perhaps you can tell if it's "turnable" for a flatish bowl or not. I'm intrigued with the shape and how the grain moves in that area. Later tonight.... PS: The great thing about this treefall is that the property owner bucked out most of it, so no chainsaw needed. Then he posted on Facebook "Buy Nothing Bainbridge" for anyone to come and grab it.
