This has been on my to-do list for quite a while. The plans are from the ShopNotes Small Shops book. The build can be done with a single 4x8 sheet of plywood and some misc hardwood scraps (depending on your notion of scraps). I'd show the planer flipped over but I haven't gotten to the hardware store for the bolts that hold it in place. The only two changes of note from the plans are the addition of the braces between the base and the sides, and the use of T-nuts inside the top to mount the planer. The plans just call to screw it in, but the DW735 weighs 92 pounds according to the lifting warning on the top, and I thought 3/8" T-nuts and bolts would be safer. I'm also missing the threaded knobs on the side to lock the top. They should arrive in the mail tomorrow. I'll probably put my chop saw on the other side.

Good job so far! :-D

I made one of those for my sander and bench grinder a few years ago. It works quite well but, to be honest, I don't flip it all that often. It just stays with the sander on top. I have to move it away from the wall to flip it.
I have since used the lower shelf for my spindle sander storage and the drawer holds sand paper and extra stones for the grinder.

I also made a roll around stand for my drill press about the same time and all those drawers are very valuable for storage of all the drill bits and accessory's that I have.
