 Post subject: Free project

Neighbor lady has a bedroom suit inherited from her aunt. Repaired these two chest drawers for her. One drawer had a piece of the back broken off and missing. The other small piece I also had to replace since it was damaged beyond repair.
If it were mine I would refinish the whole bedroom set.

My first attempt at dovetail joints. Thankfully I only had to cut new ones on the new pieces to match what was still there. Cut on the band saw and shaped with a rasp. Not pretty, but not bad for a first try.

Of course, this was a free job as a favor to my neighbor.
