 Post subject: Kitchen Cabinet refinish

Took all winter since I did a one section at a time so we could still use the kitchen.
Used Dad's Easy Strip to strip the exterior finish from the frame, the doors, and the drawers. Restained with Minwax
Golden Pecan and then hand rub poly. Deglossed the interior, then put on one coat of oil based Killz and two
coats of oil based white enamel. It isn't perfect, but my wife is happy. Need new hinges and pulls, but
will have to wait since they aren't cheap.

You're right, hinges and pulls very expensive, but the wives don't consider the cost, just looks.

This is a before picture showing the top after and the bottom before.
It really looked a lot worse than this picture shows
