Hey Folks,
After making something for myself (the Gramercy Bow Saw), I managed to knock out a small (about 1 1/4") valentine pin for Kris. It's made of some curly maple that I've been saving for some time, then shaped with a rasp, sanded, sanded, and sanded again, then polished, and stained with aniline dyes, and lacquered.

She wore it today, and got rave reviews from the local grocery clerk, which made my day. :D
Happy Valentine's Day,
Tom

Nice! Would have been great to have Kris model it as well.

Excellent. It's amazing how the sometimes the smallest projects are the best.

Hey Tom.....that is beautiful!! Very inspirational.....makes me want to do something similar. How did you affix the pin to the wood?
Very nice idea. Thanks for sharing it.

Don

Hey Don,
I just glued a small safety pin onto the back with some thick CA glue.
Cheers
Tom
