Did some woodworking with my sons this morning.
Used up pieces from the scrap pile. a mish mash. Bottom alder, pillars birch, then oak and utile/sipo.
Nice little project. We practiced safe drilling with the pillar drill, try mitre square, hand saw, blockplane and sanding. Finish lin seed oil.

Nice little intro project. Love it when I see/hear about kids working with their hands.

I've been building picture frames with my scraps. Kinda fun little project. Nice frames make cheap paintings look like expensive one.
