Well, I guess it all depends on what you are building. :confused:
Most of the time I would say no but from time to time you need to put plywood on a piece of furniture for convenience or strength. Drawer bottoms and backs of cabinets comes to mind. 8)
But, can you do it for looks also? :shock:
I say yes! :)
If you are building a candy dish or bowl like I did........

Nice effect. I was going to ask how you glued it, but finally realized that the plywood/hardwood joint is not end grain like I first thought it was.
