Here is the second carriage I just finished for someone with another brass Napoleon barrel.
This one is stained a different color than the last one I posted.
I just finished it and the new owner is picking it up in a few hours.
She is also picking up the copper top limber chest she bought.

You do an unbelievable amount of excellent work in a short

Every time I see a new post from you, Zulu, I wonder, how can he surpass anything we've seen thus far. And I'm never dissapointed; you do! You're a true master of your craft.

Thanks for yet another inspirational treat.

I want to fire that. It looks like so much fun. The build is, as always, over the top. MPW

Last year I made this carriage for a Brooks Napoleon.
I sold the Napoleon and this limber chest to a local customer who happened to be a woman. Girls like this stuff too!

She recently contacted me. She wanted a metal stand to hold the chest. She also wanted to display the Napoleon above the chest.
I designed this table with two swing away arms to support a wooden top for the gun. The gun can be lifted off, the wooden top removed, the arms swung away to the rear, and the lid to the chest could then be opened.
It was a fun project! She was very happy!
The chest mounts to the stand just like it would to a real limber.
The carriage wheels sit in cradles to prevent rolling.
