I've not been very active during the past year due to health issues, and no projects, but have been checking the posts frequently. Here is my latest little project , as usual the result of solving a small problem.

We are both life-long avid readers, and Carroll now has difficulty reading while sitting up, and finds holding a heavy book in bed for reading tiring. A Kindle ereader and this holder is the result. Works good.

The Kindle slips in/out from the side. Note the rotation of the holder is easily adjustable by hand, using a high tech device consisting of a wood circle cut in half and re-assembled with piece of inner tube for friction control.

Great Idea. That would work even for a lazy dude like me.. Nothing like a good book. I have a Nook HD.
Plenty of free or relative cheap books out there. I download many from the local library and some from the Air Force Library.

Great to see your ascii once again, Jess! Sorry to hear about the health woes but glad to see they've been sorted out.

I've been trying to talk Robbie into a Kindle but she likes having the book there, turning the pages, ... old school. What can I say? (grin)
