Some of you may remember the Lego toy box I made for my oldest son that I posted about a couple of weeks ago

Well, a friend's mom asked me to make a similar one, albeit a bit shorter. With my festool track saw, knowledge of how many cutters/shims I needed on my dado blades for this mahogany, and the foreknowledge from doing the first one, this one only took a couple of hours to put together. The finish is mahogany gel stain, topped by a couple of coats of fruitwood danish oil sanded in and then wiped off.

Because the "headboard" is a bit smaller too I decluttered the characters on the sides down to just the main characters. They (and the letters) were done on my carvewright

Thanks for any comments, and thanks for looking
