 Post subject: Glider pulleys

I finished the 4 wing control cable pulleys today. These pulleys were made from 26 gage sheet metal and turned maple. I used strips of 1x7 sheet metal, bent to shape and turned 1/14 dia. hard maple to form the pulley. 1 each will be mounted near the wing tips (leading and tailing edges) to direct the control cables from the center of bottom wing to the top edge of the top wing to control the wing warping. :-D

I can't wait to see the hardware installed and the wings reacting as expected. Will you lash them or thru bolt. You have a great ability to fashion parts, it's fun to watch.

Ed, the plans call for 3 wood screws, I will use 2 due the the small wood size and might lash also. Hummm did not think of bolts thats an idea. :D

That is really going all out for the historical adhearance. Making your own pulleys is cool. 8)
