Apologies to the Group. I've been "away" for a while and by that I mean that I just lost interest in everything - including my WW hobby. Just couldn't get any inspiration or raise any energy. But that may be changing now. At a request I made an herb pot holder and it may have rekindled my WW spirit. (Maybe it was the coat of "near Larry Green" that did it?)

Anyway, it took forever drilling the holes for the pots through 1/2" cedar using my bench pillar drill and a hole cutter blade. (At a max of 2500 rpm there was no smoke coming from the process - but a lot of jamming and binding.) It made me wonder why there (apparently) aren't bench drills which can operate at speeds equivalent to hand drills to make lighter work out of some procedures.

Glad to see you back. Your "near Larry Green" comment made me chuckle.
