This is the glider wing support frames. This to hold the wings one above the other while the struts and guide wires and control lines and other hardware are attached to the wing. The supports are different heights (taller in the center and shorter at the ends to form the anhedral effect of the wings. Anhedral is the downward droop of the wings and done by the Wrights to counteract the crosswinds at Kitty Hawk. The lower crossbar support is for the lower wing while the upper bar is for the top wing. They will be temporary attached to the wings to make one wing and will be removed when the wing is finished in about 3 months. I will attached the wings later tonight. The height difference between supports is 1.50 inches. :D :D

See "wing supports"

Here is the wings mounted to the support stand, I have to align the wings.
Play time is over now comes the real work.

I spent a good 20 minutes looking at a life-size replica of the wright flier at the Pima air and space museum... I have to say that I applaud you for taking on such a beautiful, simple, complicated, artistic, project

I look forward to more pictures of your progress

This is fun to watch, I can appreciate all the work you've done, and the effort to come. Have you figured out all the details, or do you work through them as they arise? I tend to do the latter, but your plane is much more complicated than anything I've built.

Good luck as you continue the project.
