georgeous-- I love the look of the poly over shellac, it is very warm but obviously adds some protection

I also really like the grain/sapwood/heartwood combos in the headboard--I could stare at that for hours it's so pretty

Beautiful work Bill! I love the design and especially how you carried through the arch theme. Great timbers, wonderful design and a beautiful finish, and best of all, the satifaction of a job well done. What more could you ask for. 8) 8) 8) 8)

They look really nice, nothing like a soft curve in the bedroom. Cherry has a warm and relaxing feel, nice work of the timbers. This is a project on my list, I hope it turns out as well as yours has. Thanks for sharing.
