Nice push stick Ned. I often forget about a push stick for the BS untill I'm 3/4 the way through a cut, and then I'm fumbling around looking for a piece of scrap that only half way works. I suppose I should follow your lead and make one for my BS.

So, tell us about the shape and why you made it the way you did.

No grand design scheme, I just made a small pusher for pen blanks and other small stock. Big stuff I reach around and 'drive' from behind the blade, but I've been doing a lot of strip stuff lately, and the offcuts make good pen blanks.

the big one for the TS was to replace a 2x4 stock one which had been pretty well chewed up of late. I just grabbed a piece of CDX, drew a rough outline, couple of minutes on the BS and trim router and voila, comfy push stick/jig.

.. paint it bright orange or fireman red so you cant miss it when you are going to make a cut!
