... my kitchen still requires more wiring (groan), and the heat is being turned up to finish the kitchen remodel in the month of May before the out-laws start descending for visits in June.

What are you working on this weekend?

dare I say... stock preparation for my new venture? Seriously, I'll be planing down a bunch of Maple and Cherry stock tomorrow. Tonight I'll be cleaning up a bit and getting my DC hooked up.

Hopefully gonna work on a pair of boxes that have been on the schedule for nearly half a year  and with luck work on a shadow box.

Playing with the new puppy, Sunny Day; rototilling the garden one last time before planting; playing with the new puppy, Sunny Day; continuing on the lumber organization in the garage; playing with the new puppy, Sunny Day; continuing puppy-proofing the house; playing with the new puppy, Sunny Day; planting the garden (yes, mindful of the forecast for frost); and hopefully not being called into work so I can play with the new puppy, Sunny Day......one track mind here :D :D :D

Trying to recover from today.... :x
Read the paper, sprayed last coat of polly on neighbors chess board, went to breakfast with Mo, went to friends house to re-assemble a patio table (Her husband took it apart so she could repaint it and then left town for the summer) spent an hour at her house, brought it home and another 1-1/2 hours to get 11 peices back in the right order, :x another friend came over for advice on saw blades, took patio table back (somewhat the worse for wear on the new paint job) Went to Mo's to help tune-up his table saw ( we just can't get the blade true to the miter slot!!!) for 2-1/2 hours   and just now checking on the WWA site.......MY TAIL IS WIPING OUT MY TRACKS!!!! :(
Tomrrow will try to work on the arm rests for the rocking chair and go to dinner with Goodoldwhatshername and the local kids for "Mothers Day Dinner"! 8)
Sunday, do all the other things that I forgot to do today!!!
GOSH!! its nice to be retired and do what ever you want to do when ever you want to do it!

Well, we just got back from taking the kids to see "how to train your dragon" They really liked it, and it was nice to be able to take them out to a flick... we haven't tried except for matinees up until now because we are very mindful that we don't want our children disturbing others...it seems that they are now old enough because we all had a grand time! Another great part was that the movie was showing at the base theater so tickets for all 4 of us came to less than $10.

Tomorrow is all shop time all day for me, and Sunday we are going to go to the park and then the boys and I are making Mummy's day dinner.

Bob,

Have a great time. Give Fester's wife, Liz, a hug from me and do not haul too much driftwood for her.

Best part of the day was getting my scope sighted in. :D Not as good as I used to be, but managed some reasonably tight groups ( ~ 1" at 200ft, prone ). Not bad for an old guy with bad eyes and an old Winchester 9422mag lever gun. Good enough to nail that groundhog that's been hanging around lately. :D

I noticed that no one said they are working on their wine cabinet contest entries :-D . Just curious about your progress. You still have until June 20.
