Greetings,

I couple of weeks ago my local turning club got together at one of the member’s house for the bi-monthly meeting. We spent more time drooling over the shop than we did turning. One of the things I drooled over was the folding extension wing on his TS.

I have this little useless table I made to glue up faceframes which I stored on the side of my outfeed table. It would be perfect as wing on the TS. I got a couple of 3 inch hinges and tapped some threads into my TS wing. I prop it up with one of those Rigid folding stands from Home Cheapo. With the space on the side of my outfeed table now free I was able to mount an extra vise I had lying around.

The folding wing works great and provides some much needed support for cutting long boards. The vise on the end of the outfeed table really comes in handy.

Thanks for looking.
-Joe

Great idea for small shops. I may have to borrow that one too.
