Just noticed that Splintered snuck in on four recent posts.

Welcome and tell us a little about yourself. Despite your comments on Joel's chair, we'd love to see some pics of your work.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I am a tool design engineer, half a century old. (Does that make me an antique?)
I am married with 2 kids and 2 grandchildren. I have been woodworking for a few years, but have only got serious recently. I finished an Oak pantry for the wife a few months ago and am starting an Ohio River Chest of drawers that I saw made on The American Woodshop with Scott Phillips.

I like that show because Scott is an Ohio resident. (I am near Dayton Ohio) and he is a Christian. (me too !!!!)

I will post some pictures soon and look forward to some advice on my next project.

Thanks Gentlemen!

Welcome splintered and you are by no means an antique on this site. Speaking for myself and probably some others you are still almost a baby :) We have everywhere from beginners to very accomplished woodworkers, all here to help as best we can.

Welcome Splinter. Antique, heck you barely qualify as "vintage" in my book :-D

Welcome, and watch out for the splinters
