My taxidermist friend wanted a wall mount for two teals (ducks) and he wanted something outside the box.
The plain oval is the wall mount, 22x16 attached to it via the square arm is the mounting plate, 24x16, at a 30 degree down angle and facing the long way and the teals will be in a flying position, supported by green reeds blowing in the wind. The black area is to simulate a pond, which is a 1/2 inch recess that will be covered by wet looking black river rocks. This is a work in progress and I will post the finished photos. This will be entered into a taxidermy competition next week. I used 3 coats of wipe-on poly as the finish. :D
