I have recently bought a bowl lathe, EJCA, but without a chuck, just face plates, drive- and live centers.
I wounder where I can find a chuck with the thread UNC 1 1/2 inch? Also got morse cone MK3 in both sides.
Ive used One way chucks before on smaller lathes but I realize that I have to make up some adaptor plate to get that on my new machine.

There are some 1 1/2" items listed here, Anders, but don't know if they're the right thread pitch for your spindle. These are adapters for Oneway chucks.

Add the Aussie Vicmarc to your list of possibilities. http://www.vicmarc.com/default.asp?contentID=686

The Blokes are a bit evasive, but you might "enquire" anyway. http://www.peterchild.co.uk/chucks/threads.htm If they still carry a Whitworth, who knows?

Not sure if you have any of the China clones available in your area, but they might have something. My Teknatool folks don't.

Your #3 MT might have to be purchased separately from the live revolving part. This normally threads on, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find the proper pairing. Though there's no #3 listed here http://www.peterchild.co.uk/osc/lathe-a ... 24_53.html there is a warning from the nanny state in red on the right that makes me laugh.

Forgot to mention -

My engine lathe has a MT#3 taper in the tail stock. You might find a live center from a metal lathe accessory source.

Another plug for Oneway Chucks.

I own 4 Teknatool Nova series chucks.

But if i was buying new I'd go Oneway.
All my future Chucks will be Oneway's

They are the standard that all others are measured against.
The Vicmark's are also great chucks but they tend to be pricey.

As much as I love the performance of my Teknatool/Nova products.....
I've never had any issues with any Oneway product I have purchased.

Although....My next lathe will be a Robust or a Stubby. :-)

If your are having trouble finding accessories with MT-3 you could always get an adapter.

I also vote for Oneway.
